Geography:
Spanish Morocco lies on the Strait of Gibraltar and the Mediterranean Sea. The eastern side is quite mountainous due to the Atlas Mountains. The Atlantic Coast has a bit of fertile land. Spanish Morocco is surrounded by the french colonies, Morocco and Algeria. Spain can benefit from Spanish Morocco because it has connections to African countries.
Agriculture and Manufacturing:
Spanish Morocco grew many crops like barley, citrus fruits and olives. A lot of wine, vegetables, fish and livestock also came from this area. Very few products are manufactured in this area, but things like clay pots and other items that have to do with the natural resources that exist in the area.
Natural Resources:
Many of the natural resources are things like phosphate, fish, manganese, lead, silver and copper. All of these natural resources had a positive impact on the Spanish economy.
Culture:
Before the invasion of Spain, France and Portugal, this area was home to many Berbers. After the invasion, many of the Berbers and Arabians united to defend their homeland.
